In this episode of the Coffee with Claire webinars, Claire Betker and her guest experts will discuss the significant impact COVID-19 has had within vulnerable populations.
The discussion will focus on the unique nursing considerations and experiences supporting new immigrants and refugees in response to COVID-19. Our panelists will explore the challenges caused by the pandemic, as well as solutions in working collaboratively to meet the needs of communities and provide safe, compassionate care.
Our guest experts will be: Myriam Kaszap, an outreach nurse with Médecins du Monde Canada, and Vanessa Wright, a nurse practitioner at The Crossroads Clinic with Women’s College Hospital. Our panelists will take your questions, and invite you to share your experiences to help others in this challenging situation.
The webinar will be presented in English; however, questions may be posed in either English or French.
