Session Title: Trauma-Informed Mindful Movement Class
Session Description: Within this Trauma-Informed Mindful Movement practice you get to be in charge of your body. You’ll be invited into present moment experiences to notice what you feel in your muscles, making choices to move, stretch, and breathe based on your energy levels and muscle sensations.
Past participants have shared experiences of feeling calm in their body, noticing a quiet mind, or perhaps a greater capacity for presence after the slow and gentle movement class informed by Trauma Center-Trauma Sensitive Yoga. There will be a small educational component at the beginning of this offering to support understanding the body-brain connection available within this embodiment practice.
