Thank you for accepting our invitation to speak at the CFMHN Conference which will take place at the Delta Winnipeg, Winnipeg, Manitoba. The following details are to help you prepare for the event.
Host Hotel
The host hotel is Delta Winnipeg located at 350 St. Mary Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 3J2.
The block is registered under the Canadian Federation of Mental Health Nurses using the code CFMHN with reservations available online or by phone at 204-942-0551 or 1-800-268-1133.
The special room rate of $199 per night plus taxes for standard king or standard queen rooms is available covering the dates from October 8 to October 11, 2019. The room block will remain open until Monday, September 9, 2019. After this date it will be at the hotel’s discretion whether to accept additional reservations, which will be subject to the prevailing rates and availability.
Registration
Please note that speakers are expected to register. The registration rate for the primary author is $500.00 + Tax. This 2-day Conference rate covers all events and meals including the dinner Thursday Evening. If you plan to attend Pre-Conference Workshops, you will need to purchase those optional tickets as you register.

Speaker Presentation Due Date – Friday, September 20, 2019
Email your PowerPoint presentation to Samantha Walker . We need to test to ensure that the presentation retains its integrity. If you have embedded videos or very large files (larger than 2MB), please contact Samantha for alternate instructions.
Poster Sessions
Poster Set-up and Tear Down:
Set-up time will be Thursday October 10th from 8:00 am to 8:30 am before the Conference Welcome and Opening Comments. If you can not set-up by this time, we ask that you take your seat and enjoy the morning speakers. The next break will be at 11:15 am where you are able to set-up.
Tear-down time is on Friday, October 11th from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Thursday Oct. 10:
11:15 am – 11:30 am Stretch Break & Viewing of Exhibits and Posters
2:30 pm – 2:45 pm Stretch Break & Viewing of Exhibits and Poster
3:45 pm – 5:00 pm Poster & Exhibit reception (Required presence)
Friday Oct. 11:
9:50 am – 10:05 am Refreshment Break & Viewing of Exhibits and Poster
12:20 pm – 1:45 pm Lunch & Networking & Exhibits
Poster Size: The poster boards are 6 feet wide by 4 feet high. As there is a metal frame around the edge, the live area that you must work with is 69 inchs wide by 45 inchs high. Posters can be attached either with push pins or Velcro.
What else to bring: We suggest you bring some handouts for people to take away if they want to review your topic after the conference. This could be anything from a business card with your contact details to a page or two summary of the project which should also contain your contact details.

Pre-Shipping
The Delta Winnipeg does not have space to store items in advance of the conference. You may pre-ship items to arrive no earlier than Tuesday, October 8, 2019. Please address your items as follows:
